From designer deadstock and made in Italy, this is a highly versatile medium weight cotton/wool blend with a small-scale basketweave. An absolutely delightful woven fabric that is opaque, stable, soft and malleable with some body in the drape. A classic style in an excellent designer quality. The yarn-dyed black and white gingham design has a 1/4" vertical repeat. It looks the same on both sides and does not require lining. It is the perfect choice for a great many projects including a shirt, tunic, lightweight jacket, dress, skirt, trousers, suit, etc. Machine or hand wash cool and lay flat to dry (please test first)
